نہرانا nihurānā H or نہڙانا nihuṛānā (causal of نہرنا, &c.) v. a. To cause to crook, to bend, to bow.

نہان nihān P adj. Latent, hid, concealed, clan- destine.

ناتر nātar S̱. (नान्यतर or नान्यथा) adv. (If) not (then) otherwise, else.

نيخوا neḵẖwā P. adj. (dakh.) for نيک خواه nek- ḵẖẉāh, q. v. under نيک nek. P. H. نيخوي پنا neḵẖwe-panā, s. m. (dakh.) Wishing well, good will, benevolence.

نصايح naṣāʼịḥ A s. plur. (of نصيحت from نصح Heb. and Aram. ) Counsels, advices, ad- monitions.

نکپٿ निःकपट ni-kapaṭ S Without deceit or fraud, sincere, candid.

نکير nakīr A s. m. Name of an angel. See منکر.

نرگن nir-guṇ S (निर् prep. and गुण Quality, skill, a string) adj. 1. Without passions or human qualities (an epithet of God). 2. With- out estimable qualities, worthless, unskilful. 3. Unstrung (as, a necklace).

نستارا nistār-ā S̱. s. m. 1. Definitive settlement, decision, decree, adjustment. 2. Blessing.

نکهاد निषाद nikh̤ād S s. m. 1. The first of the seven musical notes. 2. Name of a Hindū in- feriour cast. See چنڐال chanḍāl.
