نکهـ नख nakh S s. m. A finger or toe nail. نکهـ سکهـ nakh sikh or نکهـ سکهـ سي nakh sikh se, or نکهـ سي سکهـ تلک nakh se sikh talak, From top to toe, entirely, throughout, (lit.) from the (toe) nails to the hair on the crown of the head.

Opportunity, occasion, vi- cissitude, degree, pitch, weight. 5. Instruments of musick sounding at the gate of a great man at certain intervals. نوبت جهڙنا naubat jhaṛ- nā, v. n. To be sounded the naubat. نوبت خانه naubat-ḵẖāna, A guard-house. A. P. نوبتي naubat-ī, s. m. He who beats the نوبت naubat (as explained at signif. 5. above).
