نہانا nahānā S̱. or nhānā (स्नान or अवगाहन) v. n. To bathe, to wash.

نکسور nak-sūr S̱. s. m. (dakh. i. q. ناک کاسور) The sound or breathing of the nose (?).

نيہي neh-ī स्नेही S. s. m. A friend.

ناتر nātar S̱. (नान्यतर or नान्यथा) adv. (If) not (then) otherwise, else.

نکل چلنا nikal chalnā S̱. 1. To escape. 2. (met.) To surpass another, to be advanced or pro- moted. 3. To speak much or display oneʼs talent. (Spoken of a person who from the mo- desty of a stranger had formerly been silent).

نهاٿو nhāṭū H (from نهاٿنا) s. (dakh.) Runaway, deserter, fugitive (Harris).

ناکا nākā H s. m. 1. The extremity of a road. 2. The eye of a needle. 3. An alley, avenue, lane. ناکي بندي nāke-bandī, Shutting up a road.

ننانوي ninānawe नवनवति S̱. adj. Ninety nine. ننانوي کي پهير مين پڙنا ninānawe ke pher meṅ paṛnā, 1. To be entirely absorbed in the acquisition of wealth. 2. To be involved in difficulties.

نيوتا nyotā S̱. (or dakh. nayūtā, see نوتا) s. m. An invitation, or the presents sent along with an invitation to the person invited, or made by a guest. See Qanoon-e-islam.
