ناونا nāwnā नमन S̱. v. a. 1. To bend down- wards, to bow. 2. To cause to submit to, to cause to stoop.

نمام nammām A (adj. superl. of نمّ) s. m. Ca- lumniator, accuser.

نيمه nīma P s. m. A garment like a jāma, but not so full at the breast, or with less cloth in the skirt. نيمه آستين nīma-āstīn, Half-sleeved, a particular kind of jacket. (It reaches to below the knee, is single-breasted, and fastened above by one button in the centre of the chest: it has short sleeves. Qanoon-e-islam). نيمه شام nīma-shām, Evening.

نرباه nir-bāh S̱. s. m. See نباه nibāh.

نماشام nimāshām H s. (dakh. i. q. سرشام) Evening, early in the evening (?). نماشام اترنا ni- māshām utarnā (met. i. q. سياه روهونا) To have the face black, to be disgraced (?).

نباهنا nibāhnā निर्वाहण S̱. v. a. 1. To ac- complish, achieve, perfect, perform. 2. To protect, to guard, to take care of. 3. To keep oneʼs faith. 4. To behave. 5. To afford. 6. To conduct.
