مبلغ mablag̠ẖ A (noun of place from بلغ) s. m.

موچهـ mūchh H s. f. Whiskers. موچهـ مروڙا روٿي توڙا mūchh maroṛā roṭī toṛā, One who is proud of eating the bread of idleness.

مسطر mist̤ar A (noun of instrument of سطر Heb. and Chald. ) s. f. 1. A ruler (commonly, one made by stringing threads parallel to each other on paper, &c. and the lines are marked by pressing the sheet on this before writing). 2. A line.

مانج mānj मज्जा S̱. s. Pus, matter, serum.

ميخ meḵẖ P s. f. A nail, a wedge, a tent-pin, peg, a hook, a tenter. ميخ ٿهونکنا meḵẖ ṭhonknā, To nail. ميخ چو meḵẖ-chū, s. f. A mallet, a mall, a hammer. ميخ مارنا meḵẖ mārnā, To overcome.

معونت maʼūﻌnat A (infin. of عون Heb. ) s. f. Assistance, protection, favour.

مجعد mujaﻌaﻌd A (part. pass. II. of جعد) adj. Curled (hair).

محتشم muḥtashim A (part. act. VIII. of حشم) adj. Having many followers, powerful, great.

مطابقت mut̤ābaḳat A (inf. III. of طبق) s. f. Conformity, equality, identity, analogy, corres- pondence.

مرسل mursal A part. pass. (IV. of رسل) Sent to another, especially with a message; s. m. A messenger, a divine messenger, the prophet, an apostle. (Of this first class the Muhammadans reckon 313: the whole number of prophets (انبيا) are reckoned by the most moderate to amount to 124,000).
