مباف mu-bāf P (مو Hair, and باف q. v.) s. m. A slip of red cloth, a skein of thread or a fillet of brocade tied to the end of the چونٿي chonṭī or cue of hair: see موباف mū-bāf, under مو mū. A plait of hair, a fillet or riband for the hair.

مسبع musabbaﻌ A (part. pass. II. of سبع) adj. Composed of, or related to seven.

مزور muzauwir A (part. act. II. of زور) s. m. A knave, a cheat, a liar, a lie, a falsehood.

مول mol मूल्य S̱. s. m. 1. Purchase. 2. Price. مول تول mol-tol, s. m. Fixing a price; traffick, purchasing. مول بڙهانا mol baṛhānā, v. a. To enhance. مول توڙنا mol toṛnā, v. a. (dakh.) To beat down or abate (price). مول ٿهـﮩرانا mol ṭhahrānā, To appraise, to estimate, to value. مول لينا mol-lenā, v. a. To buy, to purchase.

مخزن maḵẖzan A (noun of place from خزن) s. m. A magazine, storehouse, granary. (Hence, Spanish almazen, Port. almazem, Ital. magaz- zino, Fr. magasin, Eng. magazine).

متقدم mutaḳaddim A (part. act. V. from قدم Heb. ) adj. Ancient, anteriour, antique, pre- ceding; (subst.) A chief, president, guardian. Plur. متقدمين mutaḳaddimīn, The ancients, ancient.

مرهي murhī H s. f. A twist, contortion, writhe, convolution.

معاملت muʼāﻌmalat A s. f. (inf. III. of عمل Heb. and Aram. ) Treaty, affair, business, negotiation, trans- action, behaviour, procedure, concern, cause or suit in law. (Plur. معاملات muʼāﻌmalāt). معامله رس muʼāﻌmala-ras, adj. Comprehending the af- fair, the transaction or the suit. معامله رسي muʼāﻌmala-ras-ī, s. f. The comprehension of the affair or suit, &c. معامله کرنا muʼāﻌmala karnā, To deal with, treat with, negotiate.
