متعقد mutaʼaﻌḳḳid A (part. act. V. of عقد) adj. Bound, tied or bound together, consolidated.

منفعت manfaʼaﻌt A (from نفع) s. f. Emolument, profit, gain, advantage.

مرتبه martaba A s. m. (from رتب) A step, degree, dignity, of- fice, employment, charge, rank of honour, class, order, time, turn. اس مرتبه is martaba, To this degree.

مبنيٰ mabnạ̄ A (noun of place from بنا) s. m. A foundation. مبني فساد mabnī-i-fasād, An aggressor.

مايا माया māyā S s. f. 1. Kindness, pity, sym- pathy, compassion, mercy, feeling, affection. 2. A deception depending on the power of the Deity, whereby mankind believe in the exist- ence of external objects, which are in fact nothing but idea; illusion, idealism. 3. Pros- perity, riches, opulence. مايا پاتر māyā-pātra, adj. Rich, opulent, wealthy.

منحصر munḥaṣir A (part. act. VII. of حصر Heb. ) adj. Surrounded, besieged, restricted.

مجتمع mujtamiﻌ A (part. act. VIII. of جمع Chald. ) 1. adj. Assembled, convened, to- gether in one place. 2. Agreeing in the same opinion. 3. (A man) arriving at full strength. 4. s. m. An assemblage.
