ملن milan S̱. s. m. Meeting, mixing, agreement, to meet, to mix, &c. See ملنا milnā.

مونڐ mūnḍ मुंड S̱. s. m. The head. مونڐ بهيڙا mūnḍ-bheṛā, Butting (as rams). مونڐ پانا mūnḍ pānā, To coax, to wheedle. ¶ A cloth three cubits long, worn round the pelvis. (Qanoon-e-islam).

معدود maﻌdūd A (part. pass. of عدّ Heb. ) adj. Numbered, computed.

متسلط mutasallit̤ A (part. act. V. of سلط Heb. and Aram. ) adj. Despotick (command), abso- lute (dominion).

مومي mom-ī P adj. 1. Waxen. 2. Of the colour of wax. 3. (applied to chintz) Prepared after stamping by covering the flowers with wax to prevent their being spoiled by other colours afterwards applied.

مرتبت martabat A s. f. (from رتب) A step, degree, dignity, of- fice, employment, charge, rank of honour, class, order, time, turn. اس مرتبه is martaba, To this degree.

مناجاتي munājāt-ī A. s. One who prays.

مروه maroh H s. f. Affection, kindness, huma- nity, pity.

مورکهـ mūrakh S̱. (or mūrkha मूर्ख) adj. Foolish, ignorant, stupid, idiot, fool. مورکهـ گانٿهـ mū- rakh-gānṭh, The insisting of an ignorant fellow upon what he says, stubbornness.

مرخص muraḵẖḵẖaṣ A (part. pass. II. of رخص Heb. ) adj. Permitted, allowed (to depart).
