مذبوح muẕbūḥ A (part. pass. of ذبح Heb. Aram. ) adj. Killed, slain, sacrificed. (Plur. مذبوحات maẕbūḥāt). A. P. مذبوهي maẕbūḥ-ī, s. State of being killed, &c.

مدرا मदिरा madrā S or madirā, s. f. Spirituous liquor, wine. मुद्रा mudrā, s. f. 1. A seal, a signet. 2. A seal ring. 3. The marks of a seal or similar impression, a stamp, print, coin, medal, &c. 4. A ring worn by jogīs in their ears.

مقتول maḳtūl A (part. pass. of قتل) adj. Killed, slain. A. P. مقتولي maḳtūl-ī, s. f. The being killed, killing.

موري morī P s. f. A pipe or subterraneous pas- sage (for water). S̱. موڙ 1. moṛ (r. मुर Encircle, &c.) s. m. A turn, twist, convolution, writhe, sprain: fistula (Harris). 2. mūṛ (मुंड) s. m. The head. 3. mauṛ (मौलि) s. m. A kind of high crowned hat, worn by the bridegroom at the time of marriage.

مورانا maurānā S. (from मौलि) v. n. To blossom (as, the mango tree). See مولنا maulnā.

مجـﮩولي majhūl-ī A. s. f. Ignorance, indolence, laziness, idleness, apathy.

مايه māya P s. m. 1. Stock, capital, fund, wealth, means. 2. Quantity. 3. Leaven, ferment. 4. Essence, origin.

مرجانا mar-jānā S̱. v. n. To die.

ميوڙا mewṛā H s. m. A tribe inhabiting the mountainous province of Mewāt, much addicted to robbing.

مٿهڙي maṭhṛī S̱. (perhaps, from मिष्ट Sweet) s. f. A sort of sweetmeat.
