مورچهل mor-chhal S̱. (मयूर Peacock, and खल्ल Leather) s. m. A fan for driving away flies (es- pecially, of peacockʼs feathers), a brush.

مستقل mustaḳill A (part. act. X. of قلّ Heb. and Aram. ) adj. 1. Stable, firm, durable. 2. Absolute, independent, despotick.

مسدس musaddas A (part. pass. II. of سدس) 1. adj. Composed of six; sexangular. 2. s. m. A kind of stanza consisting of six lines, sextain: hexameter. 3. A hexagon.

معنقه maﻌnaḳa A (prop. miﻌnaḳa, noun of in- strum. from عنق Heb. and Aram. ) s. m. A collar or any thing similar round the neck.

مزاحمت muzāḥamat A (inf. III. of زحم) s. f. Prevention, hinderance, impediment.

معشوقيت maﻌshūḳ-īyat A. s. f. Loveliness, the state of being beloved.

مطلع mut̤t̤aliﻌ A (part. act. VIII. of طلع) adj. Perceiving, inspecting, beholding, regarding, knowing, informed, acquainted.

متوسط mutawassit̤ A (part. act. V. of وسط) adj. Intermediate, interposing, middling.

مواج mauwāj A adj. (superl. of موج Heb. ) Waving, boisterous, billowy; raging (sea).
