متصدي mutaṣaddī A (part. act. V. of صدي Heb. ) s. m. 1. An accountant, a writer, a clerk. 2. Turning away the face, opposing. 3. At- tempting, daring, intent on. متصدي گري mu- taṣaddi-garī, s. f. Office of clerk.

مرگي मृगी mr̤igī S s. f. A doe, a female deer.

مروڙي maroṛī H s. f. 1. Twisting. مروڙي کهانا maroṛī khānā (dakh.) See پيچ کهانا pech khānā, under پيچ pech. 2. See مروهي maroh-ī.

مجانست mujānasat A (inf. III. of جنس) s. f. The being of the same kind, homogeneousness, similarity.

منقطع munḳat̤iﻌ A (part. act. VII. of قطع Aram. ) adj. Broken or cut off, terminated, finish- ed, extinct, exterminated, disjoined. منقطع کرنا munḳat̤iﻌ karnā, v. a. To break off, to stop (at any thing). منقطع هونا munḳat̤iﻌ honā, v. n. To be cut off, to be finished, or settled, or termi- nated; to fail, terminate.

متمتع mutamattiﻌ A part. act. (V. of متع) En- joying.

منات manāt A An idol of the Arabs before they became Muhammadans.

ميوجات mewa-jāt P s. plur. (of ميوه) Fruits.

مـﮩتو mahto S̱. (from महत्) s. m. A person em- ployed by the landholder to collect the rent from a village, a land-bailiff.
