محامد maḥāmid A s. plur. (of محمده) Laudable deeds, virtues.

محال maḥāll A s. m. plur. (of محل or محله from حلّ) Streets, squares, courts, places, houses, districts, departments. ¶ muḥāl (part. pass. IV. of حول) adj. Impossible, absurd (plur. محالات muḥālāt). محال مطلق muḥāl-i-mut̤laḳ, Very difficult, absolutely impossible, quite absurd.

مطہر mut̤ahhir A (part. act. II. of طہر Heb. and Chald. ) s. Purifier. ¶ mut̤ahhar (part. pass.) adj. Purified, holy.

موزي mūzī A. adj. (dakh.) See موذي mūẕī.

مقدم muḳaddam A (part. pass. II. of قدم Heb. and Aram. ) adj. Antecedent, prior, pre- ceding; s. m. The advanced guard, a chief, a leader. مقدم جاننا muḳaddam jānnā, To prefer, to consider preferable (over). مقدم هونا mu- ḳaddam honā, To precede. ¶ maḳdam (noun of place or time) s. m. Arrival.

مول mol मूल्य S̱. s. m. 1. Purchase. 2. Price. مول تول mol-tol, s. m. Fixing a price; traffick, purchasing. مول بڙهانا mol baṛhānā, v. a. To enhance. مول توڙنا mol toṛnā, v. a. (dakh.) To beat down or abate (price). مول ٿهـﮩرانا mol ṭhahrānā, To appraise, to estimate, to value. مول لينا mol-lenā, v. a. To buy, to purchase.

ماهتابي māhtāb-ī P 1. s. f. A kind of firework, blue-light. 2. A sort of muskmelon. 3. (dakh.) Cloth on which are pasted devices of the hea- venly bodies in gold or silver. (Qanoon-e-islam).

مراعات murāʼāﻌt A (inf. III. of رعي Heb. Aram. ) s. m. 1. Looking back upon, considering, reflecting, viewing attentively through half shut eyes. 2. Attending to, listening, at- tention, regard, care. 3. Taking care of, pre- serving, guarding.

مماني mumānī S̱. s. f. An aunt, motherʼs brotherʼs wife. See مامي māmī.
