مغناطيس mig̠ẖnāt̤īs G. (or مغنطيس or مغنيطيس *magnh=tis) s. m. The magnet or loadstone. See مقناطيس miḳnāt̤īs.

موري morī P s. f. A pipe or subterraneous pas- sage (for water). S̱. موڙ 1. moṛ (r. मुर Encircle, &c.) s. m. A turn, twist, convolution, writhe, sprain: fistula (Harris). 2. mūṛ (मुंड) s. m. The head. 3. mauṛ (मौलि) s. m. A kind of high crowned hat, worn by the bridegroom at the time of marriage.

مايل māʼịl A (part. act. of ميل) adj. Inclined, bent, inclined towards, fond, desirous, taking delight in, affectionate, having a propensity or inclination or partiality; addicted, apt. مايل کرنا maʼịl karnā, v. a. To incline, bend, bias, &c. مايل هونا māʼịl honā, v. n. To incline.

مخاطب muḵẖāt̤ib A (part. act. III. of خطب) s. m. The speaker, the person who addresses another. (Plur. مخاطبين muḵẖāt̤ibīn). ¶ mu- ḵẖāt̤ab (part. pass.) s. The person spoken to or addressed; the second person (in grammar). مخاطب هونا muḵẖāt̤ib honā, To address, to turn towards in speaking.

مين मीन mīn S s. f. 1. A fish. 2. The sign Pisces. 3. The name of the first incarnation of Vish̤ṇu. ¶ main (मदन) n. prop. Cupid. See کام ديو kām-dew.
