مختلف muḵẖtalif A (part. act. VIII. of خلف Heb. ) adj. Diverse, discordant, different, various.

مينـﮩدي meṅhdī S̱. (Sans. मेन्धी) s. f. The name of a plant from the leaves of which a red die is prepared, with which the natives stain their hands and feet. (Lawsonia inermis).

ملکنا malaknā H v. n. 1. To walk like a chair- man, &c. (trotting and raising the shoulders).

ملتمس multamis A part. act. (VIII. of لمس) Begging, praying, supplicating.

ممنوع mamnūﻌ A (part. pass. of منع Heb. and Chald. ) adj. Prohibited, forbidden.

مـﮩال mahāl A (noun of place from هول Heb. ) adj. Formidable, dreadful (places).
