معارضه muʼāﻌraẓa A (inf. III. of عرض) s. m. Con- tradiction, opposition; antithesis.

مقياس miḳyās A (noun of instrum. of قوس) s. m. 1. The style of a dial, gnomon, the hand of a watch, &c. 2. The Nilometer in Egypt.

موليا mūliyā मूलीय S̱. adj. Born while the moon is in mūl (n or u Scorpionis, which is considered unlucky).

مينڐهل menḍhal H s. A fruit (Guilandina bon- duccella: Lin.) so called, filled with composi- tion (as a firework); when lighted it is thrown amidst the crowd. It bursts with an explosion. (Qanoon-e-islam).

مشيت mashīyat A or مشيئيت mashīʼat (inf. of شيئي) s. f. 1. Will, pleasure. 2. The will of God, fate.

موسل mūsal मुसल S̱. s. m. A wooden pestle. موسلان سون ڐهول بجانا mūslāṅ sūṅ ḍhol bajānā (dakh.) To feast, to make merry.

ملسوت malsūt H s. (dakh.) Crane (for raising goods), cock (of a cistern: Harris).
