Labour, toil, industry, exercise, trouble, misfortune, difficulty, calamity, affliction, trial, temptation, perplexity, sorrow. محنت آباد miḥnat-ābād, Full of mise- ry. محنت زده miḥnat-zada, or محنت کش miḥnat-kash, adj. Enduring labour or trouble, afflicted. محنت کرنا miḥnat karnā, To labour, to toil. محنت کشي miḥnat-kash-ī, s. f.
