موڙها moṛhā H s. m. 1. A stool. 2. The shoulder. See مونڐها monḍhā.

مينڐک menḍak S̱. s. m. (मंडूक) A frog; the rump of a horse. مينڐکي کو زکام هونا menḍkī ko zukām honā (lit. A frog having caught cold) expresses pride or consequential airs assumed by worthless persons.

ملام malām A (from لوم) s. m. Reproach, repre- hension, rebuke, blame, accusation, reviling.

معين muʼaﻌiyan A (part. pass. II. of عين Heb. ) adj. Established, fixed, ascertained, appointed, certified. معين کرنا muʼaﻌiyan karnā, To fix, establish, appoint, ascertain, constitute. (Fem. معينه). ¶ muʼīﻌn (part. act. IV. of عون Heb. ) An assistant.

مبارک mubārak A (part. pass. III. of برک Heb. and Chald. ) adj. Blessed, august, sacred, auspicious, holy, happy, fortunate; welcome! well! hail! all hail! blessing, congratulation. A. P. مبارک باد mubārak bād (مبارک mubārak, q. v. and p. باد bād, Be it) May it be fortunate! hail! s. f. Congratulation, wishing success. مبارک باد کـﮩنا mubārak-bād kahnā, To congra- tulate, hail, felicitate, compliment, welcome. A. P. مبارک بادي mubārak-bād-ī, s. f. Congratu- lation, benediction, welcome. مبارک بادي ديني mubārak-bād-ī denī, To congratulate, give joy, hail, compliment.

مخفف muḵẖaffaf A (part. pass. II. of خفّ Chald. ) adj. 1. Alleviated, abated. 2. Light. 3. Contemptible. 4. (A consonant) having a short for a long vowel.
