مرسل mursal A part. pass. (IV. of رسل) Sent to another, especially with a message; s. m. A messenger, a divine messenger, the prophet, an apostle. (Of this first class the Muhammadans reckon 313: the whole number of prophets (انبيا) are reckoned by the most moderate to amount to 124,000).

ماٴ mā A s. m. 1. Water, juice. 2. Semen. 3. Splendour, lustre, temper. ماٴ الجبن māʼu-l-jubn, Whey (peculiarly, of goatʼs milk). ماٴ الحيات māʼu-l-ḥayāt, The water of life. ماٴ القرع māʼu-l-ḳarﻌ, The juice of the pumpion. ماٴ اللحم māʼu-l-laḥm, Distilled water from kidʼs flesh with spices.

مرحبا marḥabā (lit. A may you enjoy a spacious abode!) interj. Hail! welcome! God bless you! bravo!

متردد mutaraddid A (part. act. V. of ردّ Heb. ) adj. 1. Rejected. 2. Adverse. 3. Wandering. 4. Irresolute, perplexed, ambitious, hesitating, wavering. S. متردروهي मित्रद्रोही (from मित्र Friend, and द्रोह Malice) mitr-drohī, s. m. A false friend, a treacherous friend.

مفلس muflis A (part. act. IV. of فلس Heb. and Aram. ) adj. Poor, wretched, beggarly; bankrupt.

من min A (Heb. ) prep. From. من بعد min baﻌd, Afterwards, after, hereafter. من وعن min-wa- aﻌn, adv. Circumstantially. ¶ man, pron. Who? he who, whoever. من رآني man raānī, Who has seen me?
