مندار mandār मंदर S̱. s. m. 1. The name of a mountain, famous in India, with which the

مٿاپا muṭāpā H (from موٿا) s. m. Fatness, plumpness, bigness, bulkiness.

منڐپ मंडप manḍap S s. m. 1. A temporary building or open shed adorned with flowers, a house. 2. A temple. منڐپ اطلسي manḍap-i-at̤las-ī (dakh.) The lower heaven or crystalline sphere. S. منڐت मंडित (r. मड Adorn, surround) manḍit, part. Ornamented, overlaid (with gold, &c.), covered (with dust).

محجور maḥjūr A (part. pass. of حجر Heb. ) For- bidden, prohibited.

متهني mathnī मंथान S̱. s. f. A churn-staff.

منجا manjā H s. (dakh.) 1. See نيوتا nyotā. 2. The rubbing the body over with turmerick, &c. on particular occasions, such as circumcision, bismillāh, virginity and marriage. (Qanoon-e-islam, glossary).

موليٰٰ maulạ̄ A (from ولي) s. m. See مولا maulā.

ماننا mānnā मानन S̱. v. a. See مانا mānnā. برا ماننا burā mānnā, To take amiss, to take as an affront. بهلا ماننا bhalā mānnā, To take in good part.
