مفصل mufaṣṣal A (part. pass. II. of فصل Heb. and Aram. ) 1. adj. Distinct, full, ample, detailed (account of circumstances). 2. adv. Particularly, diffusively, distinctly, in detail, fully. 3. مـﮩابهارت महाभारत mahā-bhārat S s. m. 1. A grand epick poem by Vyāsadeva, containing an account of the dissensions and wars of the Kurus and Pāṇḍus, two great collateral branches of the house of Bhārat, so called from Bharat its founder. 2. The great war of the descen- dants of Bharat.
