لٿانا luṭānā S̱. v. a. 1. (causal of لوٿنا lūṭnā) To squander, to spend or expend, to cause to plun- der or be plundered. 2. (causal of لوٿنا loṭnā) To cause to wallow or roll about.

لجه lujja A (from لجّ) s. m. Deep water, the middle of the sea, an abyss. لجه خيزي lujja- ḵẖez-ī, The agitation or ebullition of the abyss.

لن تراني lan-tarānī (lit. A thou shalt never see me) s. f. Boasting, airs, conceitedness.

لس las लास्य S̱. s. m. Tenacity, viscosity, glu- tinousness, clamminess. لس دار las-dār, adj. Viscous, glutinous, clammy. لس داري las-dār-ī, s. f. Tenacity, viscosity, glutinousness.

لڙکهنا luṛakhnā S̱. (r. लुठ Roll) v. n. To roll, to fall (or roll) off, to slip, to slide.

لتر latar H s. f. An old shoe.

لپ لپ lup-lup H s. m. Lapping (as, of a dog drinking). ¶ lap-lap, adj. Nimble, quick. لپ لپ کهانا lap-lap khānā, To eat quickly. S̱. لپنا lipnā (r. लिप Plaster, besmear) v. n. To be plastered, smeared or washed over.

لاسا lāsā H s. m. 1. Any thing clammy, or glu- tinous. 2. The milk of plants. 3. Size.

لوه چور loh-chūr S̱. (लोहचूर्ण) s. m. Iron filings.

لٿهـ laṭh S̱. (Sans. यष्टि) s. m. A stick, club, cudgel. (See لاٿهـ). لٿهـ بازي laṭh-bāz-ī, s. f. Cudgelling.
