لحظه laḥz̤a A s. m. 1. A moment, the twinkling of an eye. 2. A look, a glance.

لنگوٿا langoṭā P. s. m. See لنگوٿي langoṭī. لنگوٿ بند langoṭ-band, 1. A bandage to which the langoṭ is fastened. 2. One devoted to ce- libacy.

لاله lāla P s. m. A tulip. لاله رخ lāla-ruḵẖ or لاله رخسار lāla-ruḵẖsār or لاله عذار lāla-iﻌẕār, adj. Tulip-cheeked, red-cheeked. لاله رنگ lāla-rang, adj. Tulip-coloured. لاله زار lāla-zār or لاله ستان lāla-sitān, A bed or garden of tulips.

لگوا lagūʼā S̱. s. m. A paramour.

لذت laẕẕat A s. f. Pleasure, enjoyment, delight, flavour, deliciousness, taste, savour, sweetness. (Plur. لذّات). لذت ياب laẕẕat-yāb, Finding pleasure.

ليزم lezam P s. f. A kind of bow with an iron chain instead of a string, with which the natives exercise their bodies.

لـﮩاڙا lihāṛā H adj. Vile, base, mean, contemptible.

لٿکنا laṭaknā H v. n. To hang, to dangle.

لوک lūk H s. f. See لوه lūh.

لپک lapak H (from لپکنا) s. f. 1. A flash (of lightning, &c.). 2. The spring (of a tiger, &c.), bounce, snatch.
