لـﮩر lahar S̱. (Sans. लहरी) s. f. 1. A wave, un- dulation. 2. Whim, fancy, vision. 3. The ef- fect of the poison of a snake. 4. A waving pattern in embroidery. 5. Emotion.

لگنا lagnā S̱. (r. लग Come in contact) v. n. To be applied, to apply, to begin, to be fixed, to be attached, to be close (to), adjoin, to touch, to be employed, to be imputed, to attain (to), to reach, to suit, to join, to close, to be, to be- long, to become, to happen, to befall, to seem, to taste, to be connected (with), to regard. لگ رهنا lag rahnā, To continue without interrup- tion, to continue fixed. لگارهنا lagā rahnā, To be occupied or busy (in).

لقندرا luḳandrā H s. m. A rake, a profligate.

لوها lohā S̱. (लोह) s. m. Iron. لوها بجانا lohā bajānā, To fight with swords. لوه لاٿهـ loha-lāṭh, s. m. An iron mace or club.

له la-hu A To him.

لوت lot H s. (dakh.) See لوتهـ loth. S̱. H. لوت پوت lot-pot, adj. (dakh.) See لو؟ پو؟ loṭ-poṭ.

لبيک labbai-k A Here I am ready to obey thee! Here I am at thy call!

لمن li-man A He to whom. لمن الملک li-man- a-l-mulk, He to whom is the kingdom or the sway.

لڙکهڙانا laṛkhaṛānā H v. n. 1. To stagger, to trip. 2. To stutter, to stammer.

لادو lādū H (from لادنا) adj. Fit to carry a load. لادو کرنا lādū karnā, To mount a horse or colt for the first time.
