لکشن लक्षण laksh̤aṇ S s. m. See لچهن lachh̤aṇ. H. S̱. لک کرنا lak karnā, v. (dakh. i. q. صاف کرنا) To make clear (?). H. S̱. لک لک کرنا lak-lak karnā, v. (dakh.) To glitter: see چمکنا chamaknā.

لنگوچا langūchā H s. m. A sausage.

ليک līk लेखा S̱. s. f. Marks of a carriage wheel, rut, path, track, trace, stain, ignominy, disgrace.

ليت let H (perhaps for s. ليپ lep, q. v.) s. m. Plaster, paste, batter.

لچها lachchhā H s. m. A bundle (of thread), a ball or skein of thread, &c. ¶ (In the Dakhan) A necklace worn tight round the neck, formed of gold beads and glass beads. (Qanoon-e-islam).

لنگ lung P s. m. A cloth worn round the loins with the end passed between the thighs and tucked in behind, or a cloth worn between the legs. لنگ مارنا lung mārnā, To tie on the لنگ q. v. ¶ lang, adj. Lame. (s. लंग Lameness).

لڙ laṛ H s. f. 1. A string (of pearls, &c.), a thread, a row. 2. A strand of a rope or cord. 3. A party. لڙ مين رهنا laṛ meṅ rahnā, To be in oneʼs party.

لمبيان کرنا lambiyāṅ karnā S̱. v. a. To prance.

لجلجانا lajlajānā H v. a. To soften.

لاو lāw H s. m. 1. A rope. 2. The cable of a boat.
