لپٿانا lipṭānā H or lapṭānā, v. n. To cling, stick, adhere together.

To weigh anchor. 2. To feed the poor, or raise an almshouse to give a feast to the poor. لنگرپر هونا langar par honā, To be at anchor. لنگر ڐالنا يا کرنا langar-ḍālnā or -karnā, To cast anchor.

لاج lāj लज्जा S̱. s. f. Bashfulness, modesty, shame.

لپيٿن lapeṭan H s. f. A roller on which cloth is wound in the loom, a button, &c.

لرزان larzān P part. act. (of لرزيدن) Trembling, quivering, tremulous. P. H. لرزانا larzānā (causal of لرزنا) v. a. To shake, cause to shake, quiver, tremble, &c.

لـﮩو lahv A s. m. 1. Playing, amusing oneʼs self, unbending the mind. 2. Play, any thing ludi- crous, or jocular. لـﮩو لعب lahv-laﻌb, s. m. Play, sport, mirth, amusement, game, fun. لـﮩو ماٴيل lahv-māʼịl, adj. Inclined to play.
