اپشپت अ and पुष्पित Blossomed apush̤pit S. adj. Without flowers (a tree or plant), not bearing flowers, not in flower. S̱. اپشٿ (अ and स्पष्ट Evident) apashṭ, adj. Hidden, secret.

ارقام irḳām A (inf. iv. of رقم Heb. He marked or punctured) s. m. Act of writing. ارقام کرنا irḳām karnā, To write. ارقام هونا irḳām honā, To be written.

اچهالنا uchhālnā S̱. (caus. of اچهلنا) v. a. To throw up, to toss up a thing (as a ball, &c.) and catch it in the hand. H. اچهان (अ and چهان Strain) a-chhān, adj. Not strained, impure.

انتخاب intiḵẖāb A (inf. viii. of نخب) s. m. Se- lection, drawing or plucking out; making ex- tracts from books, election, choice. انتخاب کرنا intiḵẖāb karnā, To select. A. P. انتخابي intiḵẖāb-ī, adj. Select, selected.

اندیشه andesha P s. m. Thought, meditation, suspicion, care, anxiety, dread, fear, concern. اندیشه کرنا andesha karnā, To reflect, to think, hesitate, to fear. اندیشه ناک andesha-nāk, adj. Thoughtful, anxious.

ارژنگ arzhang P s. The picture gallery or cave of the celebrated painter ماني mānī, q. v.

افگن afgan P part. in compos. (of افگندن) Casting, throwing down, casting forth.

اجات अ and जात Kind, sort a-jāt S. adj. Expelled from his cast (a man).

آدها ādhā अर्द्ध S̱. adj. Half. In compos. it becomes آده ādh or اده adh or ادها adhā or اد ad; as, آده جلا ādh-jalā, Half-burnt; ادهموا adh- mūā or ادموا ad-mūā, Half-dead.

اسده अशुद्ध अ and शुद्ध Pure, correct a-suddh S. adj. Incorrect, impure, inaccurate, mistaken.
