کدانا kudānā S̱. (कुर्द्दन r. कुर्द or कूर्द Sport, play) v. a. 1. To dandle. 2. To cause to leap. 3. (met.) To provoke.

کتهہ kath H s. m. The astringent vegetable ex- tract, which the natives eat with betel-leaf. It is the produce of a species of Mimosa (chadira) catechu, terra japonica. S. کتها कथा (r. कथ Speak) kathā, s. f. A story, tale, fable, relation, narrative.

کٿکٿ kuṭkuṭ H s. m. Nibbling, itching, scratching. H.S̱. کٿکٿي کهانا kiṭakṭī or kaṭakṭī khānā (dakh. i. q. پيچ وتاب کهانا) To suffer distress, to twist or twine, to be very uneasy.

کاندو kāndū कान्दविक S̱. s. m. 1. A sugar- boiler. 2. A tribe whose business it is to fry corn, prepare sweetmeats, &c.

گوونا gowanā गोपन S̱. v. a. To conceal, to hide.

کلجگ kali-jug S (कलियुग) s. m. The fourth or iron age, comprising a period of 432,000 years, which is supposed to have begun about 3,000 years before the Christian era.

گهٿوال ghaṭwāl S̱. (from s̱. گهاٿ) s. m. A wharfinger.

گوکهرو gokhrū गोक्षुर S̱. s. m. 1. Name of an ornament (bells tied round the ankles). 2. A joint. 3. Name of a plant. (Tribulus lanugi- nosus, or Ruellia longifolia: Roxb.). بڙا گوکهرو baṛā gokhrū, Pedalium murex.
