کهاروا khārūʼā H s. m. A coarse kind of red cloth of cotton.

کنارا kinārā P. (or prop. kanāra) s. m. Side, margin, shore, strand, bank (of a river, &c.), beach, border, coast, part, limit, boundary, edge. کنارا پکڙنا kinārā pakaṛ- nā, To retire. کنارا کرنا kinārā karnā, v. a. To abstain, to refrain, to keep aloof, retire or with- draw (from), to lay aside. کناره کش kināra- kash, Withdrawing. کناري kināre or کناري پر kināre par, Aside, ashore. کناري چڙهنا kināre chaṛhnā, v. n. To run ashore, to strand. کناري هوجانا kināre ho-jānā, To retire, to withdraw.

کتل kattal H s. f. A lump of stone, brick, or earth.

گهونسنا ghūṅsnā H v. n. (dakh.) To be driven in, to penetrate: see گهسنا ghusnā.

کل جبا kal-jabā S̱. (कालजिह्व i. e. काल Black, and जिह्व Tongue) adj. Malignant, ill-omened, whose curses prevail.

کاٿهـڙا kāṭh-ṛā S̱. s. m. A wooden pot.

کاهل kāhil A (part. act. of کہل) adj. Slow, indo- lent, lazy, languid, relaxed, sick, tardy. کاهل مزاج kāhil-mizāj, Indolent.

گنا gun-ā S̱. (गुण see گن guṇ, in composition de- noting) Fold, turn, time; as, سوگنا sau-gunā, A hundred fold, centuple. H. گنا gannā, s. m. Sugar-cane.
