کهونٿا khonṭā H adj. Deficient, adulterated, bad (as, coin), false, deceitful. ¶ khūnṭā, s. m. 1. A tent-pin, a pin, a peg, nail. 2. Protection. کهونٿي کي بل کودنا khūnṭe ke bal kūdnā, To become insolent relying on protection. (The idea seems to be taken from a personʼs teasing an animal, which, being fastened by a rope to a pin, is unable to get at him: so that کهونٿا is only indirectly a protection by restraining the adver- sary).

گورا گمٿا gorā gumṭā S̱. adj. (dakh.) Red and white.

کاو kāw P part. act. (from کاويدن) in compos. Digging, excavating, examining, investigating, meditating on. H.S̱. کاوا دينا kāwā denā, v. a. 1. To ring or lounge (a horse, &c.). 2. To trick, to sham.

کهولن هار kholan-hār S̱. s. m. Opener, loosener, untier.

کچوري kachaurī H s. f. A dish made of wheaten bread and pulse.
