کوتاه kotāh P adj. 1. Short, little, small, brief. 2. Mean. کوتاه بين kotāh-bīn, Dim-sighted, shortsighted. کوتاه بيني kotāh-bīn-ī, s. f. Short- sightedness. کوتاه پاچهہ kotāh-pācha, Name of a quadruped with a spotted back and with horns like a stag. کوتاه دست kotāh-dast, Short- handed; weak. کوتاه نظر kotāh-naz̤ar, adj. Shortsighted.

گناهگار gunāh-gār P s. A sinner, criminal, culprit.

کپالي kapāl-ī S See s̱. کپاري kapārī. کپالي آسن kapālī-āsan, An attitude of faḳīrs in worship, standing on their heads. کپالي کريا kapālī-kriyā (कपालक्रिया) A ceremony among Hindūs. When a dead body is burning and nearly re- duced to ashes, the nearest relation breaks the skull with the stroke of a bamboo and pours melted butter into the cavity. Hence, kapāl- kriyā karnā, To think intensely, to beat or cudgel oneʼs brains.

To or in every house, from house to house. گهربيٿهنا ghar baiṭhnā, To be ruined. Mīr Dard says: جس سمت کوتوني آنکهہ اٿهاکر ديکها مانند حباب گهرکي گهربيٿهہ گئي Jis simt ko tū ne ānkh uṭhākar dekhā, mānand-i-ḥubāb ghar ke ghar baiṭh gaʼe, Wherever you have turned your eyes, whole families, like bubbles

گودڙي gūdṛī H s. f. 1. A quilt (especially, a faḳīrʼs). 2. A bundle.

گنجينه ganj-īna P s. m. A treasury, a magazine.

گڙد gaṛad H s. (dakh.) Thicket or thick close wood or branches (?): see غڙچه g̠ẖaṛachcha.
