گرهستي girhist-ī S̱. or girhast-ī or grihastī, 1. s. f. Husbandry, housekeeping, housewifery, household. 2. See گرهست girhist.

گيبر gebar H s. m. Name of a bird.

گهڙيال ghaṛiyāl S̱. s. m. 1. (Sans. घटिक or घटी Pers. گريال) A plate of brass for beating time. 2. (घंटिका) A crocodile. S̱. گهڙيالي ghaṛiyāl-ī, s. m. The person who attends the ghaṛī and strikes the hours.

کلجہوان kaljahwāṅ S̱. adj. Dark-complexioned, sallow.

گرد بالش gird-bālish P s. m. 1. A small round pillow laid under the cheek. 2. A large cy- lindrical pillow.

کاريزي kārez-ī P adj. Watered by canals, of or relating to canals.

کسر kasr A s. f. 1. Breaking, breach, loss, afflic- tion, a fraction (in arithmetick). 2. Rout, put- ting to flight. 3. The vowel (ِ) sounded like the Ital. short i, or the English i in bill, fin. (Plur. کسرات). کسر و زياد kasr-o-ziyād, or کسري زياد kasr-e ziyād, More or less. (But, these seem to be corruptions of کثر).

کدانا kudānā S̱. (कुर्द्दन r. कुर्द or कूर्द Sport, play) v. a. 1. To dandle. 2. To cause to leap. 3. (met.) To provoke.

کلول kalwal S̱. s. f. Misfortune, calamity.

کنياهٿ kaniyāhaṭ H s. f. Shiness.
