گانسنا gāṅsnā H v. a. To pierce, transfix, spit (as, a fowl, &c.).

کامارتهي कामार्थी kāmārthī S A person who carries baskets filled with Ganges water. S. کاماندهـ कामान्ध (i.e. काम Desire, and अन्ध Blind) kāmāndh, adj. Blind by lust, lustful.

گهاٴي ghāʼī H s. f. 1. Cudgelling. 2. Stratagem, fraud, a decoy. 3. Number five (in reckoning). 4. The interstice between the fingers or toes, the junction of the fingers, the space at the root where the fingers separate. 5. The angle formed by a branch with the trunk of a tree, or space at the root of the branch. 6. A cut or stroke with the broad sword or cudgel. (There are twelve cuts).

کٿنا kaṭnā S̱. (r. कृत् Cut) v. n. 1. To be cut, to be clipped or cut off. 2. To be spent or passed (time, life, &c.). 3. To be abashed, to be in- terrupted. 4. To die of wounds.

کاک काक kāk S s. m. A crow. کاک پچهـ काकपक्ष kāk-pachh̤ or kākapaksh̤ (crowʼs wing or feather) s. m. Tresses.

کاسه kāsa A (Heb. ) s. m. A cup, a goblet, a plate, bowl. کاسه سر kāsa-e-sar, The skull. کاسه ليس kāsa-les, s. Pot-licker. کاسه ليسي kāsa- les-ī, s. f. Pot-licking. S. کاسي काशि or काशी kāsī, s. f. The city Be- nares.

گام gām P s. m. A pace, step. S. گامني गमिनी gāminī, adj. f. Going, moving.

کتي kuttī कुक्कुरी S̱. s. f. A bitch. ¶ kitī (कति) How much? how many? ¶ kate or kātī (dakh. for کـہتي kahte or kahtī) Saying.

کڙهوا kaṛhūʼā H (from کڙهنا) s. m. A loan, a debt: a premium on a loan: a deduction from the sum lent.

گوچهئي gauchhaʼī S̱. (गुच्छ A clump of grass) s. f. A sprout.
