کشتي kishtī P (prop. kashtī) s. f. (dakh. s. m.) 1. A ship, vessel, bark, boat, ark. 2. A tray. 3. A beggarʼs plate or pot. ¶ kushtī, s. f. Wrestling. کشتي گير kushtī-gīr, or کشتي باز kushtī-bāz, or کشتي گر kushtī-gar, A wrestler. کشتي کرنا kushtī karnā, To wrestle, struggle.

گهورا ghoṛā घोटक S̱. s. m. 1. A horse. گهوڙي کو سرپٿ پهينکنا ghoṛe ko sarpaṭ phenknā, To force a horse to his utmost speed. 2. The cock (of a gun). گهوڙا چڙهانا ghoṛā chaṛhānā, To cock a gun.

گنيس गणेश gaṇes S The name of a Hindū di- vinity. The Janus of the Hindūs. The god of wisdom, represented with an elephantʼs head and attended by a rat. He was the son of Mahādeva and of a daughter of the mountain Himālaya, and is invoked at the commence- ment of every affair of consequence. S. گنين guṇ-iyan, adj. (in Braj) plur. of گني guṇ-ī, q. v. S. گو गो or गौ go or gau, s. m. f. A cow, one of the cow kind.

گهلاؤ ghulāʼū H (from h. گهلانا ghulānā) adj. (dakh.) Alluring, deceitful. گهلاؤپنا ghulāʼū-panā, s. m. Deception, enticement.
