کهانا khānā खादन : کهانا khānā खादन S̱. 1. v. a. To eat; to em- bezzle; (met.) To get, suffer, take, receive, hold, contain. 2. s. m. Food, dinner, eating. کهاجانا khā jānā, To eat up, devour. کهانا پينا khānā pīnā, Meat and drink, food, board, fare. کهائي گهر کي بهانسي گننا khāʼe ghar ke bhāṅse ginnā, or کهائي تهالي مين چهيد بهانا khāʼe thāle meṅ chhed bhānā (dakh. met. for نمک حرامي کرنا) To act with treachery or ingratitude (?).
