کهونٿا khonṭā H adj. Deficient, adulterated, bad (as, coin), false, deceitful. ¶ khūnṭā, s. m. 1. A tent-pin, a pin, a peg, nail. 2. Protection. کهونٿي کي بل کودنا khūnṭe ke bal kūdnā, To become insolent relying on protection. (The idea seems to be taken from a personʼs teasing an animal, which, being fastened by a rope to a pin, is unable to get at him: so that کهونٿا is only indirectly a protection by restraining the adver- sary).

گولنداز gol-andāz P (comp. of گوله and part. act. of انداختن To throw) s. m. A cannoneer, gunner, bombardier.

کاٿنا kāṭnā S̱. (कर्त्तन r. कृत् Cut) v. a. 1. To cut, to clip. 2. To bite, corrode, erode. 3. To reap. 4. To saw. 5. To stop, to stay. 6. To waste, to spend, to pass away (the time), to pass (a road). 7. To interrupt, to intercept. 8. To shame, to make ashamed. کاٿ ڐالنا kāṭ ḍālnā, To cut off, amputate.

کابر kābir A (part. act. of کبر Heb. ) adj. Great, grand, illustrious.

کوسلي koslī H s. m. New leaves just sprouting.

کهنگال ڐالنا khangāl ḍālnā H To murder privately.
