کجلا kajlā S̱. (कज्जल) s. m. Lampblack, soot, collyrium prepared from soot.

کلانا kallānā H v. n. To burn, to be inflamed (as, the skin by rubbing pepper, &c. on it). ¶ ki- lānā, v. a. 1. To winnow. 2. To strike with the fist. ¶ kalānā, v. a. To parch grain.

کترا katrā S̱. (part. past of کترنا) s. m. Parings, clippings.

کهوڐس षोडश kh̤oḍas S adj. Sixteenth.

کهيجنا khīj-nā S̱. (r. खिद Grieve, pine) v. n. To be angry, to be vexed.

کهلا khullā S̱. adj. (dakh. from کهلنا khulnā) Open. S̱. H. کہلا بهيجنا kahlā bhejnā, v. a. To send a mes- sage, to send and tell, to inform.

کاجل kājal S̱. (कज्जल comp. of कत् Bad, and जल Water, juice) s. m. Lampblack (with which the eyelids are painted). کاجل کي کوٿهري kājal kī koṭhrī, A place from going into which, or an affair the being engaged in which, brings disgrace or suspicion on oneʼs character.

گهڙسنا ghuṛasnā H v. a. To curl.
