کترنا katarnā S̱. (कर्त्तन r. कृत् Cut) v. a. To clip, cut (as with scissors), cut out, pare, shred, cut up. ¶ kutarnā, v. a. To cut with the teeth.

کٿ kuṭ कुष्ठ S̱. s. m. Name of a medicine. (Costus arabicus or speciosus). ¶ kaṭ or kaṭi (कटि) s. f. The reins, the loins, the waist. کٿ کيہري kaṭi-kehar-ī, adj. f. Having a waist elegant as the lionʼs (epithet of a woman).

کوٿهي koṭhī S̱. (कोष्ठ An apartment) s. f. 1. A small (pakkā) house, a warehouse, a granary, dwelling, mansion, barrack, chamber, bank, chest, bin, storehouse, factory. 2. A banking house. 3. The chamber of a gun, the inside or shaft of a well. 4. The womb. 5. The ferrule or mounting at the end of a scabbard. کوٿهي وال koṭhī-wāl, A wholesale merchant, a warehouse-keeper.

کهوج کهاج khoj-khāj H s. f. 1. Vexation. 2. In- quiry.

کهاتا khātā S̱. (from کهانا) s. m. 1. The act of eating. 2. Daily account, waste-book. کهاتا باڙي khātā-bāṛī, s. f. A storehouse.

کهوکهلا khokhlā कोटर S̱. adj. Hollow, exca- vated (as, a tooth or a tree, &c.).

گريز gurez P (from گريختن) 1. s. f. Flight, devia- tion, digression, abhorrence, aversion, dislike, abstinence, fasting, regression. 2. part. act. (in compos.) Fugitive, fleeing. گريزپا gurez-pā, adj. Fugitive, runaway, fleeing.

گهولنا gholnā S̱. (caus. of گهلنا ghulnā गलन) v. a. To mix with a liquid, to dissolve.
