کوڙي koṛī H s. f. A score, twenty. ¶ kauṛī (Sans. कपर्द्द) s. f. 1. A small shell used as coin. (Cypræa moneta). پهوٿي کوڙي phūṭī kauṛī, or کاني کوڙي kānī kauṛī, A bit of money of the low- est value, (fig.) a farthing. 2. Money, fare, hire. کوڙي بوک kauṛī-būk, Venal. 3. A gland. 4. The point of the sternum, or ensiform carti- lage.

کهونٿا khonṭā H adj. Deficient, adulterated, bad (as, coin), false, deceitful. ¶ khūnṭā, s. m. 1. A tent-pin, a pin, a peg, nail. 2. Protection. کهونٿي کي بل کودنا khūnṭe ke bal kūdnā, To become insolent relying on protection. (The idea seems to be taken from a personʼs teasing an animal, which, being fastened by a rope to a pin, is unable to get at him: so that کهونٿا is only indirectly a protection by restraining the adver- sary).

کاري kār-ī P (from کار) adj. Effectual, operating, penetrating. کاري زخم kār-ī zaḵẖm (or zaḵẖm-i-kārī) A deep wound, a mortal wound.

کشميري kashmīr-ī P s. m. A Cashmerian, a dancer.

کاٴي kāʼī H s. f. The green scum on stagnant pools, the green mould that sticks to walls and pavements, scum, fur, paste.
