کونت kont कुन्त S̱. s. f. A spear.

کترانا katrānā S̱. (caus. of کترنا katarnā, q. v.) v. a. 1. To cause to clip, to cut out. 2. To leave the high road stealing away by by-paths, to go round about, to shrink, to slink away (from), to edge or go sideways. کتراکر چلنا katrākar

کنارا kinārā P. (or prop. kanāra) s. m. Side, margin, shore, strand, bank (of a river, &c.), beach, border, coast, part, limit, boundary, edge. کنارا پکڙنا kinārā pakaṛ- nā, To retire. کنارا کرنا kinārā karnā, v. a. To abstain, to refrain, to keep aloof, retire or with- draw (from), to lay aside. کناره کش kināra- kash, Withdrawing. کناري kināre or کناري پر kināre par, Aside, ashore. کناري چڙهنا kināre chaṛhnā, v. n. To run ashore, to strand. کناري هوجانا kināre ho-jānā, To retire, to withdraw.

کچيانا kachiyānā H v. n. To be frightened, to draw back, to shrink.

کٿناس kaṭnās H s. m. The name of a bird. (Co- racias).

کتئين ki-taʼīṅ H (or dakh. kitaiṅ or kataiṅ for کي تئين) postpos. To, up to, for, on, at, or denoting the objective case.

کرن karan H s. m. Lace cut into small pieces and put on a cap.

کلکل کانٿا kilkil-kānṭā H s. m. A game among boys. One boy, having drawn several lines upon a stone, hides it, and the others, repeating the words kil-kil-kānṭā, run about searching for it. Whoever finds the stone has a right to strike the boy who hid it three times with his fingers on the back of the hand.
