گہرا gahrā गंभीर S̱. adj. Deep. گہرا رنگ gahrā rang, Deep colour.

گهي ghī घृत S̱. s. m. Butter clarified by boiling and straining.

کجات ku-jāt S (कुजाति comp. of कु Bad, and जाति Birth, lineage, cast) adj. Base, of mean extraction or bad cast; one who has lost his cast, an outcast.

کهنڐتا खंडिता khanḍitā S s. f. A woman who, provoked at the infidelities of her husband or lover, is rather abusive, speaks her mind freely, but retains no malice in her breast. See Āʼīn Akbarī, Vol. III, p. 174, 8vo.

کهيل khīl H s. f. Parched grain inflated or puffed out by heat so as to appear like froth.

کرتي kurtī P. (from کرته) s. f. A waistcoat or shirt for women, a jacket for soldiers, a coat.

گنوان गुणवान् guṇwān S adj. Possessed of talent or virtue; virtuous, accomplished, skilful.

کونڐي kūnḍī H s. f. An instrument or vessel in which snuff, bhang, &c. are ground.

کسک kasak H s. f. Pain, affliction, stitch.

کهڙکاٴيگي khaṛkā-egī H s. f. (dakh.) Apprehen- sion, suspicion, doubt.
