کاشف kāshif A (part. act. of کشف) s. m. De- tecter, discoverer, explainer, revealer.

گرگري gurgurī H s. f. Ague, the cold fit of a fever, a quotidian fever.

گن गण gaṇ S s. m. 1. A troop, tribe, flock, class, multitude. 2. Troops of inferiour deities considered as Sivaʼs attendants, and under the especial superintendance of Gaṇesa; Sivaʼs at- tendants.

گهٿاٴي ghuṭā-ī H s. f. Perfidy. See کهوٿاٴي.

کهدي khudde H s. f. The spaces in a necessary between the little brick partitions. 2. The space from which a tooth has fallen out or been ex- tracted.

گرانا girānā H (caus. of گرنا) v. a. 1. To cause to fall, to fell, to overturn or overthrow, to abase, to cast, throw or break down. 2. To spill, to drop, to shed. 3. To strike. گرادينا girā denā, To throw, beat, cast or break down.

کچهارنا kachhārnā प्रक्षालन S̱. v. a. To wash, to rinse.

کرسي kursī A s. f. 1. A chair, a stool, a seat, a throne. 2. The eighth heaven, or according to some the ninth, the throne of God. 3. The name of a place, within about fourteen miles of Lakhnau, the inhabitants of which are said to be foolish or mad. کرسي کاهي kursī kā hai, He is from Kursī, i. e. he is mad or foolish. کرسي نامه kursī-nāma, A genealogical tree. کرسي نشين kursī-nishīn, Established in office, enthroned; verified.

گوبر گنيس gobar-ganes S̱. adj. Fat.

کوي koʼī H 1. s. The water lily. (Nymphæa lotus. 2. s. f. The pulp of the jack fruit. (Ar- tocarpus integrifolia).
