گفت وشنيد guft-o-shanīd P s. f. Discourse, altercation, ex- postulation, debate, controversy, contention.

کسر kasr A s. f. 1. Breaking, breach, loss, afflic- tion, a fraction (in arithmetick). 2. Rout, put- ting to flight. 3. The vowel (ِ) sounded like the Ital. short i, or the English i in bill, fin. (Plur. کسرات). کسر و زياد kasr-o-ziyād, or کسري زياد kasr-e ziyād, More or less. (But, these seem to be corruptions of کثر).

گاوشير gāw-shīr P s. f. Name of a medicinal gum or gum resin, opoponax.

کهليل khalel P. (corrupt. of خليل) s. m. 1. Scent- ed oil. 2. A hole made by children for playing at trap-ball or marbles.

کوپنا kop-nā S̱. (from کوپ r. कुप Be angry) v. n. To be wrath, to be angry, to rage. S̱. H. کوپيرا kūpairā (from کو Bad, and پير Foot) adj. Unlucky.

گهوٿو ghoṭ-ū H adj. Polished, smooth (words).

کهوڙ khauṛ H s. f. The marks which Hindūs make on their foreheads with sandal wood, saffron, &c.

گلبہي gal-bahī S̱. (from गल Neck, and बाहु Arm) s. f. Throwing the arms on the neck.

کسوانا kaswānā S̱. (causal of کسنا) v. a. To cause to tighten, tie, bind, &c.
