گڙگڙي guṛguṛī H s. f. A small ḥuḳḳa, a kind of pipe for smoking.

گنبهير gambhīr S (गंभीर) adj. 1. Deep (as water, but also used metaphorically). 2. Serious, thoughtful, sedate, grave.

گل چکان gul-chikān P s. m. The flowers of ma- hūʼā (Bassia latifolia: Roxb.).

کانٿا kānṭā कण्टक S̱. s. m. 1. A thorn, spine. 2. A fork. 3. Small (goldsmithʼs) scales. 4. A spur. 5. A type. 6. The tongue of a ba- lance. 7. Fishing hook. 8. A fish-bone. کانٿا سا نکل جانا kānṭā sā nikal jānā, To be freed from distress or injury. کانٿون پر گهسيٿنا kānṭoṅ par ghasīṭnā (lit.) To drag upon thorns; to extol or exalt one above his merits. (Used by a person who from humility disclaims the praises bestowed on him). کانٿي بوني kānṭe bone, (lit. to plant thorns) To prepare distress or misfor- tune for oneʼs self.

گهہرنا ghahar-nā H v. n. To thunder.

گٿهہ بندهن gaṭh-bandhan S̱. (Sans. ग्रंथिबंधन) s. m. Tying the knot; a Hindū ceremony at- tending marriage, in which the mantles of the bride and bridegroom are fastened together.
