کلغي kalg̠ẖī T. s. f. An ornament on the turband, an aigrette, a plume.

کهدڙنا khidaṛnā S̱. (see کهديڙ dakh.) v. a. To pur- sue. کهدڙ دينا khidaṛ denā (i. q. هانک دينا) To drive (?).

گلگلا gulgulā H s. m. Sweet cakes fried in butter, or, wheat flower, sugar and dahī, with anise and cardamom seeds, made into dumplings and fried in ghī.

کرتي kurtī P. (from کرته) s. f. A waistcoat or shirt for women, a jacket for soldiers, a coat.

کونين kaun-ain A s. dual (of کون kaun) The two worlds (the spiritual and corporeal, or that of angels and that of men).

گينا gainā H s. m. 1. A bush. 2. A small bul- lock.

کهنڐتا खंडिता khanḍitā S s. f. A woman who, provoked at the infidelities of her husband or lover, is rather abusive, speaks her mind freely, but retains no malice in her breast. See Āʼīn Akbarī, Vol. III, p. 174, 8vo.

گهٿانا ghaṭānā H (caus. of گهٿنا) v. a. To decrease, lessen, diminish, abate, allay, reduce. ¶ ghu- ṭānā (from گهوٿنا or گهونٿنا) v. a. To shave clean, to polish.

گلاب gul-āb P s. m. 1. Rosewater. 2. (Hind.) A rose. گلاب پاش gulāb-pāsh, s. f. A bottle from which rosewater is sprinkled. گلاب پاشي gulāb-pāsh-ī, s. f. Rosewater-sprinkling. گلاب پاشي کرنا gulāb pāshī karnā, To sprinkle with rosewater. گلاب چشم gulāb-chashm, adj. Meek-eyed. گلابنير gulāb-nīr, s. m. Rosewater. P.S̱. گلاب جامن gulāb-jāman, s. f.
