کہ‍ار kahār कर्मकार S̱. s. m. A palanquin- bearer.

کرنا karnā P s. m. indecl. A kind of trumpet, clarion, or bugle. See a. قرناي.

کلي kull-ī A adj. Universal, entire, total, general. s. f. Total sum. S. کلي कली or कलि kalī or kali, s. f. (dakh. s. m.) 1. A bud, an unblown flower, blossom. 2. Quicklime. 3. कलि The kali-yug, or fourth age of the world, according to the Hindūs.

کڙتي kuṛtī H s. (dakh. i. q. جانورکوپاني پلاني کاظرف) A vessel for giving water in to an animal.

کٿني kaṭnī S̱. (from کٿنا) s. f. The season for cutting the grain, harvest. ¶ kuṭnī (Sans. कुट्टनी r. कुट्ट Cut; contemn) s. f. A bawd, a procuress.

کناره kināra P (or prop. kanāra) s. m. Side, margin, shore, strand, bank (of a river, &c.), beach, border, coast, part, limit, boundary, edge. کنارا پکڙنا kinārā pakaṛ- nā, To retire. کنارا کرنا kinārā karnā, v. a. To abstain, to refrain, to keep aloof, retire or with- draw (from), to lay aside. کناره کش kināra- kash, Withdrawing. کناري kināre or کناري پر kināre par, Aside, ashore. کناري چڙهنا kināre chaṛhnā, v. n. To run ashore, to strand. کناري هوجانا kināre ho-jānā, To retire, to withdraw.

گندهي gandh-ī गांधिक S̱. s. m. 1. A person who sells rosewater, essences, and aﻌtr; a per- fumer. 2. A green bug.

کابلي kābul-ī P. s. f. A kind of pea (that came from Kābul). کابلي مٿي kābul-ī miṭṭī, s. f. Armenian bole.

گزاف gizāf P or guzāf, s. f. Vanity, vain, rash, absurd talk or act.
