ادهنگي adhang-ī S̱. adj. Affected with hemiple- gia, palsied, paralytick.

آب بازي āb-bāzī P s. f. Play or sport in water; swimming.

اتیت atīt अतिथि S̱. s. m. A wanderer, pil- grim, a fakīr (among Hindūs). See اتته atithi.

اچتنا uchaṭnā S̱. (उत् and r. चट Separate, break) v. n. To separate; to be separated (as plaster from a wall); to slip, slide, rebound (as a sword striking a hard body obliquely); to be broken or interrupted (sleep).

اٿال aṭāl H s. f. A stack, a rick (of grass, corn, &c.), a heap of baggage, &c.

انمت उन्मत्त उदु and मत्त Drunk, mad un-matt S. adj. Mad, insane, drunk, lustful.

اعجاز iﻌjāz A (inf. iv. of عجز) s. m. Disappoint- ment; miracle, wonder, astonishment, amaze- ment, surprise. اعجاز مسیحائي iﻌjāz-i-masīḥā-ī, A cure as miraculous as the cures of the Mes- siah, a miraculous cure.

ارتوگر urtū-gar H s. m. A crimpler or plaiter (of clothes).

اپاون अपावन a-pāwan S adj. Impure, defiling.

اپنشد उपनिषद् upanish̤ad S s. The theolo- gical part and the vedānta or argumentative part of the Vedas, either detached from, or comprised in, the principal work.
