قدسيه ḳuds-īya A. adj. Holy, celestial.

قصوز ḳuṣūr A (from قصر) s. m. 1. Defect, fault, want, faultiness, deficiency, miss, omission, failure, failing, blame. قصور کرنا ḳuṣūr karnā, To fail, to be deficient. 2. plur. (of قصر) Palaces.

قلتين ḳullatain A s. m. 1. A warm bath; (hence) 2. adj. (a cup, &c.) which is in common use by many: Mīr Ḥasan says, ند يجو وه پياله جو هو قلتين na-dījo wuh pyāla jo ho ḳullatain, Give me not that cup which is hackneyed among the multitude. 3. A common prostitute.

قرمساق ḳurram-sāḳ U A term of abuse, pimp, cuckold, scoundrel, &c.

قيصر ḳaiṣar L. (Lat. Cæsar. Gr. *kaisar) s. m. Cæsar, an emperour. The general name for the Greek or Turkish emperour.

قور ḳor A. (in Arab. ḳūr, analog. to Heb. A web, especially a spiderʼs, from قار Heb. To surround, to ensnare) s. f. 1. A new rope of fine cotton. 2. Edging, facing of a dress, ri- band, twist, tape. 3. A string or row (of ani- mals succeeding each other); train, retinue. قور خانه ḳor-ḵẖāna, An armoury, arsenal, a wardrobe.

قبوليت ḳabūliyat A s. f. A written agreement, acceptance, assent, consent.

قلمقاني ḳilmaḳānī H s. f. A female armed atten- dant on a lady (perhaps a Calmuck).

قبولي ḳabūl-ī A. s. f. A kind of food, rice and pulse boiled together.
