فرد fard A (Heb. To separate, to divide) 1. s. f. A sheet (of paper), list, roll, verse, piece, fragment. 2. An individual. 3. adj. One, unique, incomparable. 4. Single. 5. Odd (number. Plur. فرديات or افراد).

فارغ fārig̠ẖ A (part. act. of فرغ) adj. 1. Free, disengaged, at leisure, ceasing from labour on finishing it. 2. Absolved, discharged. 3. Con- tented. فارغ البال fārig̠ẖu-l-bāl, or فارغ الحال fārig̠ẖu-l-ḥāl, adj. Independent, contented, at ease. فارغ خطي fārig̠ẖ-ḵẖat̤t̤-ī, s. f. A deed of release or discharge, quittance. فارغ هونا fārig̠ẖ honā, To cease on finishing (from).

فراغت farāg̠ẖat A (from فرغ) s. f. 1. Cessation, disengagement (from any thing on finishing it), finishing and ceasing (from), rest, freedom from care, leisure, repose. 2. Abundance, affluence, ease, happiness, competency. فراغت کرنا fa- rāg̠ẖat karnā, To finish and cease (from).
