غوره g̠ẖūra P s. m. 1. Unripe grapes or dates. 2. A colour in pigeons.

غول g̠ẖūl A (vulg. g̠ẖol) s. m. 1. An imaginary sylvan demon of different shapes and colours, supposed to devour men and animals. (From this our European loup-garou, or man-wolf, seems to be borrowed). 2. (in Hindī) A corps, division, or main body of an army, a squadron, a crowd, gang. غول بياباني g̠ẖūl-i-bayābān-ī, A demon (inhabitant of the woods). غول کا غول g̠ẖol kā g̠ẖol, Crowd upon crowd.

غبي g̠ẖabī A (from غبو) adj. Weak in mind, for- getful, negligent, imprudent.

غلطه g̠ẖalt̤a P. (see گلتا galtā) s. m. 1. A leathern sheath over a scabbard. 2. A thick sort of cloth.

غليظ g̠ẖalīz̤ A (from غلظ) adj. Dirty, filthy, gross, rude, coarse, thick, obscene.

غرکنا g̠ẖuraknā H v. a. (dakh. i. q. ڐرانا) To menace, threaten, frighten.

غفل g̠ẖafal A s. m. Carelesness, negligence, neglect, inattention, inadvertency, remissness. غفلت زده g̠ẖaflat-zada, Overcome with carelesness.

غباره g̠ẖubāra P. s. m. A bomb, a shell or mortar for throwing shells.

غراز g̠ẖurrāẕ A (from غرز) adj. Frowning, haugh- ty (Hunter), bold (?).
