غوره g̠ẖūra P s. m. 1. Unripe grapes or dates. 2. A colour in pigeons.

غوري g̠ẖorī P s. f. A kind of porcelain, which breaks the moment poison is put into it.

غوط g̠ẖot̤ A. (from غوطه q. v.) s. m. Consideration. غوط مارنا g̠ẖot̤ mārnā, To disappear. غوط مين انا يا جا نا g̠ẖot̤ meṅ ānā or jānā, To faint.

غيرت g̠ẖairat A s. f. 1. Modesty, bashfulness, honour, courage. 2. Jealousy, enmity, emula- tion, a nice sense of honour. غيرت افزا g̠ẖairat- afzā, Increasing emulation or jealousy. غيرت کش g̠ẖairat-kash, adj. Enduring jealousy, jealous. غيرتمند g̠ẖairat-mand, Jealous, emu- lous, high-minded.

غراب g̠ẖurāb A s. m. A crow; a kind of ship or sailing vessel, (vulg.) a grab.

غبار g̠ẖubār A s. m. 1. Dust. 2. Vapour. 3. Clouds of dust, impurity, foulness. 4. (met.) Vexation, affliction, perplexity. 5. The smallest Arabic or Persian handwriting. غبار آلود g̠ẖu- bār-ālūd or غبارآلوده g̠ẖubār-ālūda, Covered or polluted with dust, dusty. غبار خاطر g̠ẖubār-i-ḵẖāt̤ir, Affliction, trouble of mind.

غيبت g̠ẖaibat A s. f. Absence. ¶ g̠ẖībat, Speaking ill of any one behind his back, backbiting, slander, detraction. غيبت کرني g̠ẖībat karnī, To backbite.

غازه g̠ẖāza P s. m. Red colour with which wo- men paint the face: see اپٿن or غازه کاري .اپٿنا g̠ẖāza-kārī, s. f. Painting the face with a red colour.

غوطم غاته g̠ẖot̤am-g̠ẖāta A. P. s. m. A game in which swimmers dip one another under water.

غسال g̠ẖassāl A (adj. superl. of غسل) s. m. One whose business it is to wash the bodies of the dead.
